High Spectra is an on going project, research project, dance piece, visual aesthetic and movement language. That aims to personify my inner world. Influenced by a still yet alive feeling of eternal presence, meditation, alienation, otherworldly beings and Autism. Aswell as deconstructed ballet forms; combined with freeform bruk up. All Whilst Taking on a performance art mentality, it’s a complete paradigm construction. High spectra uses meditation binaural beat frequencies. It personifies my inner feelings and exemplifies the world I experience through my minds lens. As of 2024 spectra has begun to manifest itself as a dance piece catered for stage as opposed to a wider exploration of research, performance art, and improvised expression. Fragments of the choreography I use for spectra was born out of 10 years of improvising, responding in art gallery context, dance and gliding research. It's a language that has taken on a life of its own and demands ongoing investigation. I respect the will of its consciousness and follow where it must.
